Estudia las prosificaciones castellanas de las Cantigas de Santa María (2-25) del Códice Escorial y opina que «... the marginal prose versions are not Alfonsine», y que, además, no salieron de su scriptorium y que tampoco «they were not commissioned by Alfonso, who... would have considered such marginalia a defacement» (p. 262).
